Shefali Shah is  born 1974  also known as Shefali Shetty and Shefali Chhaya is an Indian television and film actress. Shah made his film debut with Rangeela 1995, although she only had a couple of scenes in the movie. She ventured into television with the serial number Kabhi Kabhi.

She starred in the critically acclaimed film Satya 1998, she received the Star Screen Award Best Supporting Actress and a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance.

Shefali Shah's break through performance was as Ria Verma in the internationally acclaimed Monsoon Wedding. She graduated to mature roles as Kasturba Gandhi in Gandhi, My Father and Anil Kapoor's wife in 2008 film Black and White.
